About Us

The method used in the Piano Zone has been developed by Denise Locke Heard. Denise has been a professional musician in Nashville for many years. She is currently working as song writer in an exclusive publishing agreement for Judy Harris Music. Denise also leads worship at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where she is in charge of coordinating the band and singers. She is teaching a song writing class weekly at Franklin Road Academy and teaches a song writing class every summer at Kids on Stage in Liepers Fork, Tn. Denise has worked as a studio musician and has played on the road with various artists.

The formula used by Denise in the Piano Zone has been developed in her search for the best ways to get her students playing what they desire to play. She believes that the path to learning to play does not have to be an uphill battle if you use the right tools. Denise would love to hand you these tools and open the door for you into the Piano Zone!
